This is not an official MCR fansite, It's just for people who love My Chemical Romance!
This is a fairly new site, founded by me on the 27th May 2009. I thought, why not make a fan site? What do I have to loose? For the freaks who don't know MCR has five members; Bob Bryar, Ray Toro, Frank Lero, Mikey Way and the all important singer- (Need I say his name?) Gerard Way!
My Chemical Romance were formed in the wonderful year of 2001 and soon had a deal with eyeball records, releasing their first album, I BROUGHT YOU MY BULLETS, YOU BROUGHT ME YOUR LOVE in 2002 Unfortunately for Eyeball records, they soon ditched them for Reprise Records in 2003.
2004 came and they had released a real shocker of an album! Younger fans were disappointed when on the front cover it had the label saying:
parental advisory explicit lyrics
The PAEL logo meant more true feelings were shown in the album; ( THREE CHEERS FOR SWEET REVENGE ) as inside it said:
The tale of a man,
A woman
And the corpses of a thousand evil men...
Even containing a song called: "It's not a fashion statement, It's a f***ing deathwish"
Wow! Stressy!
It was an absolute best-seller, with over 1,000,000 copies sold (worldwide?)
A commercial success! The follow up of their album, THE BLACK PARADE in 2006.The band also filmed a live DVD in Mexico City, which was released on July 1, 2008.
Recently, their latest song- Desolation row, a remake of the classic Bob Dylan song, especially for the film "WATCHMEN".
Gerard Way and the rest of MCR agree that they are big fans of the comic and always change their favourite comic!
Gerard's first ever job (Teen) was in a comic book store and instead of being paid in money, he was paid in comics!
